As women we are socialized to be selfless and always think of others before ourselves. When we make a decision that enables us to pursue a dream or leave a bad relationship we are labeled selfish. If we don’t pour every bit of our energy into our children we are considered narcissistic. I actually applaud you, Janice, for making decisions for yourself and living your life on your own terms. You are a role model for me and many other women.
