Bebe- I related to every word of this. This past summer my 69 year old husband fell off a ladder and broke his wrist. He is still recovering from that break and may never have full use of his right hand or be pain-free again. I put my foot down and said no more ladders, but he’s since been on our roof at our new house cleaning the skylights. All I can do is keep his life insurance policy paid up and pray he doesn’t end up an invalid. Old men and ladders shouldn’t be a thing!
