Cat- Your story has so many parallels to my own. Good Christian wife, emotional and financial abuse, a man that appeared to be a good, upstanding man. When I finally set myself free it was the most terrifying thing I have ever done. But I was willing to live under a bridge if it meant being free from him.
Now my life is 1000 times better. I would go back and do it the same way, even though it cost my relationship with my youngest child. That is my only regret.
