Dear Patricia- of course you would fear dementia after caring for your husband for so many years. It’s a terrifying prospect for all of us who are aging. I’m so sorry you had such an overwhelming dose of it and I’m glad you have your daughters. I recently learned about a strategy for relieving worry- delegate it to your future self. She will know just what to do when the time comes to handle it.
