Ellen — I am so sorry that you have had the same heartbreak. But it does come down to having no choice but to let go, doesn’t it? You are right about families — sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. You are also right about the mother-son bond. I enjoy that kind of bond with my own son, and thankfully with my other daughter as well.
