Every morning I make coffee in my ceramic pour-over. It is a comforting ritual and one that allows me to wake up, feed the cats while the water boils, empty the dishwasher while the coffee drips and finally, take my coffee to my favorite chair and sit in the dark while I think of nothing but the coffee in my cup. I could not think of a better way to start my day.
