Ha! And everyone makes fun of us in the South when we clear the store shelves of milk and bread.

Those three inches of wet, heavy snow that started accumulating late Monday into Tuesday morning took no one by surprise. The various media outlets had been trumpeting warnings for a week. Anyone who wasn’t committed to totally ignoring newspapers and the Internet knew there was a big, bad nor’easter headed our way. Sure enough, the toilet paper and milk began flying off the shelves, and half the city acted as if they were going to be snowed in for weeks.
