I know how much you must be suffering. Please know that I see your pain and I am wrapping you in a big hug.

You might consider lighting a candle as a prayer. I often light a candle with the prayer "May you be held in the arms of love." I let the candle burn until it goes out (I use a taper) and each time I see it I send the prayer up for whoever I have lit it for. Your daughter must be in a lot of pain to have walked away from her life. I know you love her, and asking for her to be held in the arms of love is a wonderful way to acknowledge her on mother's day. And be kind to yourself. No expectations is perfect. I am sending you the same prayer - May you be held in the arms of love. ♥♥♥
