I love everything about this, Vivian. How you describe your father, the way your family tackled cleaning out the family home, your teenaged experiences. But I especially love the way you describe your desire to get a sign from your father. In the end, I think meaning is ours to make and there is no way I would get a jacket in the mail randomly and not see that as a sign.
