I Love My Cats But Can They Just Stop Throwing Up?

I can’t count how many times I am awakened at 5:00 AM by the sound of my cat retching in my bedroom. I don’t even want to count the number of times I have swung my feet off the bed into a pile of cat vomit. Or walked in the dark through the living room to step on a wet, slimy hairball. If you are a cat owner, I know you can relate. If you are not, I am sure you are wondering why the hell anyone would own cats.

I have two sweet cats. One is an elderly lady of 18 and one is a funny boy of 5. The old girl came to us before she was a year old. We adopted her from a pet store that was having an adoption day. When we approached her crate, she rolled over on her back and begged us to scratch her tummy. When my daughter took her out of her crate she snuggled into her arms like a baby. That was it for us. She has been a part of our lives ever since. Her name is Sassy and it suits her to a T.
