I love this, Kathleen. Being in a major transition myself- my husband’s retirement, the death of our mothers and now, caring for my stepdad- your words are comforting. I am trying to see this as my real life, and not look towards a day when I can “get my life back” . I am practicing relaxing into the current and letting it take me instead of fighting it.
