I think you have hit it on the head, Robin. With most moms working full-time it is harder to get time off and sending the kids to school sick is the only option many parents have. That puts all the kids and their families at risk. When I was a kid you always stayed home when you were sick because our moms were all at home. Even when my kids were little I was a stay-at- home mom so if they even sniffled I kept them home. My mother never cared about perfect attendance for us and I followed her lead when I was raising mine.
