I wasn’t sure what to expect when I saw your headline, but this was a thoughtful, heart wrenching read. I have had so many of the same thoughts. If I were younger, or if my husband was willing to, I might seriously consider leaving the country. I’m heartsick about how mean we’ve become here, and disgusted with the faction of the population who believes that threats and violence are acceptable ways to get their way.
I’m glad we are no longer living next door to scary MAGA sycophants with guns. While we are still in a very conservative part of the state, we are safe in our neighborhood and that means the world to me! But I grieve for our country and the world.
