I’m not on social media, either. I’m not interested in spending several hours a day engaging and promoting myself. It used to be the publishers’ job to do that for its writers. But now writers are expected to do it themselves. I’ve accepted that I will never make a living at writing and I’m ok with that. At my age, I have no interest in living online. There’s too many interesting things I want to do with the short time I have left. Dealing with trolls is not on that list!
