John, Thank you for clarifying the medicare part of all of this. I did not know that medicare would only pay for two weeks. And I know you are right about a longer stay. It would not have been good for him.

I want him to retain control over his life, but I just wish he would do it with more kindness and grace. But that is me wishing to make a leopord change its spots.
