Leslie — I forced the lid off a pressure cooker when I was 12 because I had made soup and did not know not to set the lid and put the jiggler on. I was burned severely and spent 6 weeks out of school recovering. I cringed as I read your story because I knew where you were going! I am so glad you were not hurt more badly.
