Loons! Before I die I want to hear them in the wild. I have a birdsong book and my grandchildren picked the loon as their favorite, without knowing that it is my favorite too! Whenever they see me they say "Loon!" (I could get a complex about that, but I love it!) My dream is to take them all somewhere where we can hear, and hopefully see, loons one day. :)
