Mari - He is certainly behaving badly, but he is perfectly in his sound mind. I worked with dementia patients for years and he is definitely not even showing slight signs of dementia. He is just a stubborn, willfull old man who is acting without regard for those of us who are in the role of his caregiver. His son and grandson are doing their share. We are all trying our best to navigate this without losing our minds.
