No doubt! When men get older they get more “dignified” and sometimes even sexier(Tom Sellek, anyone?) But women just get overlooked as past their expiration date, good for nothing but rocking grandbabies. (Unless you’re Tina Turner!) Women are valued for how they look more than men are, and when we lose our looks we are no longer worth anything to the males of the world and society at large.

The reality is, women are more powerful than we’ve ever been allowed to believe and that’s why men spend so much energy trying to keep us under control. So not only is there ageism against women but the double whammy of ageism and sexism.
