Ooh. Someone called me young lady recently and it felt so creepy. I totally agree with you. And to add insult to injury, when I was a kid my mom and dad only called me young lady when I was being warned about my behavior, as in “Don’t use that tone of voice with me, young lady!” It’s time for old men to learn better.
