Sibling estrangement is so hard. I have been estranged from my sister for many years over my divorce and subsequent freedom to be who I really am - a liberal Buddhist instead of a conservative evangelical. It has been so painful but I am finally reconciled to it. Like you, I don’t know if we could ever bridge that philosophical divide.
