So beautifully written. My heart lurched as I recognized my own journey with my daughter 20 years ago. Self-harm, a suicide attempt, two hospitalizations. She is now a beautiful, accomplished woman with a masters degree in social work, working at a psychiatric inpatient facility for girls.
