Thank you for being a sane voice in the wilderness. It hasn’t been too many years ago that Medium didn’t even pay writers. It was just a place to have a blog without the hassle of having to design and maintain your own. I love when I make money here, but I write because I love to write and I don’t see that Medium owes me anything. We don’t have a contract. I’m just here writing my little stories.

Having said that, it does feel a little disconcerting to never know what is going on here. It’s definitely the wizard behind the curtain around here and it would be nice if Toto would go pull it back for us!
