Thank you for your response, Fiona. I have just written an addendum to the original article, and your response prompted it. It is not naive to think we can have a conversation with them. But at this point, it may be more important for us to work on our own response to the flag, than to make a big deal out of it. It is a difficult time to be alive, and we are all doing the best we can. It's up to us to decide how we will respond to it.
