Thank you, Rose, for your great comments. Following our kids around can be risky, can't it? But it sounds like you have handled it with aplomb.
Buying the house you love instead of the one you think you should buy is always the best plan, in my opinion. I am finding the stairs to be great for my knees, and I am less stiff when I get up now because I go up and down those stairs so many times a day. And one of our daughters figured out how we could throw up a wall and make a bedroom on the main floor if we had to. Anything can happen, but it is not inevitable that our house will become an enemy. We love it so much and will figure out how to stay in it. Maybe we will even put in an elevator if needed.
The key for me and you both is to stay active and healthy as long as possible so we can stay in our preferred homes.
Enjoy your family and your new life in New York. ♥♥♥
