Thanks, Peggy. Yes, it WAS hard, but it is not so painful anymore. I have truly found peace and I hope that other mothers who face the same thing will also find their way to peace. The mother-child relationship that we idealize does not always happen, and like you said, that is okay. We just have to learn to see things from a different perspective.
