We bought in a gated development- 727 acres- that does not allow burning. This is good because wildfires that get started in these mountains rush up the ridges like a runaway train. Last year we had wildfires 15 miles from us that burned several thousand acres. We have a wildfire plan because of this.

The smoke from the fires can really ruin your air quality. I know you’re relieved when the burning on the mainland ends.
