This is so affirming for me today. I was headed to a gathering of friends I didn’t really feel up to, but I dragged myself through putting an overnight bag together and got in the car for the 90 mile drive. About 40 miles into the drive traffic came to a complete stop. A wreck had completely shut the interstate down. It took an hour and a half to go 2 miles to get to an exit. I was going to be an hour and a half late to the gathering. It was less than an hour back home. I opted to make a U-turn and headed back home. Some things just aren’t worth the hassle!
