We just bought a small (tiny) chest freezer. We thought we could keep it in the carport until we realized the neighborhood bears could easily open the lid and help themselves. It ended up in our dining room because that’s the only place it would fit. My husband made a cutting board to fit the top and now it’s extra prep space. It would never make it into a magazine but, hey, we live here.
