What a good point you make, Cora! Yes, I think I am more content than I've ever been. It's easy to get sucked into the popular idea that we are supposed to want to travel when we retire and there must be something wrong with us if we don't. I am perfectly happy with a day trip to the top of Mt. Mitchell for a short hike and a piece of pie at the restaurant and then back home to my bed. I couldn't really want anything more. ♥
