Whatever works, Jan! To stop eating would take the resolve of knowing what’s ahead and being determined not to go there. I couldn’t wait until I was deep into dementia to make that choice. It would have to be right after the diagnosis. But permitting my children to put me in a nursing home is a backup plan in case that doesn’t work out.
