Wishing you both the joy of new traditions. One thing we always did was read special Christmas books out loud to one another. Sophie is old enough to read to you. Some of our favorites are Christmas in Georgia by Celestine Sibley and A Little House Christmas Treasury. My daughter is 34 and we still do this whenever she can be home for Christmas. It’s a great tradition that brings a lot of togetherness and doesn’t require a lot of work.
