Yes Mandy, I live 30 miles west of Charlotte. We can be on the parkway and up to Mitchell in about 2 hours. We spend a lot of time in Hendersonville where we have close friends, and my Mom is in Franklin. We love North Carolina. It is like heaven on earth.

I love kindred spirits! I sometimes I talk loud, but it is because I was deaf until I was 3, before I had my adenoids out. Right now it is so quiet here that all I hear are cicadas and the fountain on the front porch. It has been cool enough to have the house open all day and it has been lovely.
