Yes, there must be easier ways beside starving yourself to death, but this one is within my power, and getting my hands on a drug that will do it without pain or repercussions is not. Unless I am able to travel to Oregon (I think that's the state where you can go even if you are not a resident for assisted suicide.)

I thank you for your comment, and I take no offense. This should not be such a hard thing in the US, but until we have a compassionate policy that allows us to choose a death that is painless and humane, this is what we are stuck with.
