Yes to this! I was married for 27 years and floundered when I divorced for that very reason! Every woman should be able to support herself and should have her own money. I am glad to say I am confident in my ability to support myself now, should I ever find myself alone again. And I am making a significant contribution to the household bank account now. But my heart will always be at home.
