You can’t make it right but you can learn to forgive yourself, dear friend. You are human and making mistakes is what humans do.

I learned this lesson the hard way, too. I neglected to call my father on father’s day one year. Just got busy and completely forgot. I was so sorry and was determined I was going to make up for it the next year. He died a week before father’s day that year. I have never forgotten that hard-learned lesson- Do it now, we never know how long we have with someone.

I suffered for years with the guilt of not getting a chance to make up for my neglect. I finally had to let it go and forgive myself for being human. I hope you will be able to someday, too. ❤️
